Autumn/Winter '22 Yarn Club, 'River'
Te Awakairangi (also known as the Hutt River) is the river which flows past where I live and work and I am lucky enough to be able to walk along its banks regularly. I love watching the seasons change the course and colours of this beautiful river and the landscape around it, so choosing the theme of 'River' for this club was a natural one.
The Colours
You can check out some of the inspiration for these exclusive colourways here, which I am being guided by. I'm also giving a wee nod to this season's colours in fashion as I like to keep this in mind when creating my collections.
Expect to find some exquisitely misty, moody and rich autumnal tones in this collection. Think rust, burgundy, gold, berry, mist, sage, ink, tan, bronze, periwinkle, mushroom and soft grey.
Silt and stone, autumn leaves, mist and moss, deep water.... I know you will love it all.
The colourways I create for the 'River' club will be soley used for this club and not repeated.
How the Club Works
The club will run for three months: April, May and June of 2022. Once I receive your order, I will send you your choice of either one skein per month or two skeins per month at the end of each of these months. So, you will receive three deliveries in total.
All orders need to be placed by Friday 1st April.
If you choose the '1 Skein Per Month' option, then you will receive in total three skeins. Two of these skeins will be in a semi-solid colourway and one will be variegated.
If you choose the '2 Skeins Per Month' option you will receive six skeins in total. Three of these will be semi-solid colourways and three will be variegated.
This club is only available to customers within NZ at this stage.
Pricing
Shipping is included in the price of each yarn club.
'Jumper' and 'Sock' bases:
$150 for 1 Skein Per Month and $270 for 2 Skeins Per Month
'Shawl' base:
$175 for 1 Skein Per Month and $315 for 2 Skeins Per Month
How to Order
It's easy! Just select your preference of 1 skein or 2 skeins per month and choose your base. The options for bases are:
'Jumper', 100% Superwash Merino
'Sock', 100% Superwash Manawatū Corriedale (the perfect sock yarn!)
and
'Shawl', 50% Mulberry Silk 50% Superwash Merino.
