Colour Description

'Dusk Til Dawn' is a gentle dusky pink with peach and lavender tones.

Small batch hand-dyed.

Colours will vary depending on the base and whether or not it is superwash. There is to be expected a smaller degree of variation between skeins of the same base as that is the nature of a hand-dyed product. I have attempted to show the colourways as accurately as possible in the corresponding photographs but some variety is normal between batches and of course when viewing on a screen. Use these images as a guide and feel free to contact me with any questions or make a time to pop in and see the colours and yarns in the flesh.

Notes:

The time between ordering your yarn and receiving it can vary from 2 - 8 weeks depending on whether I have the base in stock or if I need to order it. I will contact you to let you know if I think your order is going to take more than 4 weeks.

Please read my policies section here before placing your order.

Small batch, hand-dyed yarn from my little studio in Lower Hutt, Aotearoa/New Zealand. Everything, from sourcing the yarn to packaging it and shipping it to you, is done with love and care by hand. The nature of hand-dyed yarn is that no two skeins are exactly the same, creating beautifully nuanced colourways. I advise alternating skeins while knitting with any hand-dyed yarn for consistency.

I source finest quality, fully traceable and mulesing-free, ethically, sustainably farmed yarns from New Zealand and abroad. My Merino comes from New Zealand and/or South America and my Silk comes from Indonesia. All other countries of origin are specified in the yarn descriptions.

The dyes I use are made in Australia and New Zealand. They are acid dyes that are used for dyeing protein-based fibre (such as wool and silk). I take every care to use only the quantities necessary to create my colourways so I can fully exhaust the dyebath.
